Ron Collier, OC (July 3, 1930 – October 22, 2003) was a Canadian jazz trombonist, composer and arranger.[1]

Collier was born in Vancouver and attended Vancouver Tech. He studied music privately in Toronto with Gordon Delamont. He was an important member of the Kitsilano Boys Band, with which he travelled to Great Britain and Holland in 1950.

Duke Ellington released an album "Collages" in 1973 with the Ron Collier orchestra.

In 2003, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
